Mount Eliza Neighbourhood House is a community-based organisation that provides a range of programs and services aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the local community. We offer numerous opportunities for community engagement, bringing people from all walks of life together to learn new skills, share experiences and create lasting friendships. Our programs include fitness classes, craft workshops, social activities, community events, and more.
Our core objective is to help individuals thrive and empower them to become active and engaged members of their community. By providing an inclusive and supportive environment, we are creating opportunities for people to connect and benefit their overall health and wellbeing.
Mount Eliza Neighbourhood House is managed by a team of dedicated and friendly staff. The day-to-day operations of the neighbourhood house are overseen by our manager, Gabriella. Rohanne and Sophie provide valuable centre and program support under Gabriella’s guidance.
In addition to our staff, we are fortunate to have a group of fantastic volunteers who assist with various activities and events, contributing to the smooth running of Mount Eliza Neighbourhood House.

The Board of Mount Eliza Neighbourhood House is comprised of dedicated volunteer members from our local community, who play a crucial role in governing and guiding the operations of our organisation.
President
Rosemarie is driven by a passion for transforming and innovating communities, evident in her delivery of outstanding community projects and robust infrastructure development. With 15+ years of local government experience and a commercial background, she has demonstrated strong political acumen. Her focus on creating meaningful community connections and innovative programming has made a significant impact on community development and engagement.
Andrea McCall
Vice President
Andrea, an Australian resident since 1981, brings a diverse educational background and career experience—from consulting to serving as the MP for Frankston. With a passion for community engagement, Andrea now focuses on sharing her knowledge through giving talks, particularly on Agatha Christie and Shakespeare. Living in Mount Eliza, she remains an avid reader, traveller, and active contributor to her local community.
Secretary
Ria is a communications professional with over a decade of experience across the not-for-profit, government, corporate, and FMCG sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations) and currently works in corporate communications, where she’s passionate about storytelling and building strong relationships. Since moving from Highett to the Peninsula, Ria was drawn to join the MENH board to form deeper connections within her new community.

Suzannah Gilardi became a member at MENH in late 2023, seeking meaningful connections within her community after moving from Mentone to the Peninsula. By day, she serves as a local Financial Planner and Lending Adviser, driven by her passion for enhancing financial well-being and helping people achieve their financial goals. Suzannah cherishes moments with family, friends, and the outdoors and is open to new connections.
Treasurer
Sue has a strong believe in the importance of local communities and has worked in the community and education sectors for many years. Managing programs in areas from early childhood to aged services. As CEO of a community services Sue has demonstrated expertise in governance, program development and government liaison. With years of experience working with, and on Boards of Management Sue is looking to use her experience to forward the importance of MENH and have fun working with the community.

Max Ervin, a retired civil engineer residing in Mount Eliza, brings his experience serving on Commercial and Not-for-Profit Boards, including roles as a member and as Chairman. With a wealth of experience, Max is enthusiastic about utilising his expertise to contribute to the community now that he is in retirement.

At Mount Eliza Neighbourhood House, we are proud to be at the heart of our community, providing a welcoming space where people of all ages can connect, learn, and build friendships.
For over 30 years, our House has continued to grow and strengthen through the support of passionate volunteers and community members. We are currently seeking new volunteer Board Members to join our Governance Committee.
