The Wiser Driver Course is a free program designed to help older drivers develop techniques and skills to become a safer and wiser driver.
There are NO TESTS involved
Older drivers over the age of sixty suffer the highest fatality rate and make up nearly a quarter of all facilities on the roads within the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula shires.
The course is made up of 4 X 2 hour sessions and is designed to encourage a friendly, informal and thought provoking atmosphere
When: Monday 21st October for 4 weeks

This session provides information on memory and common changes that may occur with ageing. It provides strategies for improving memory, when to seek help about your concerns and services provided by Dementia Australia. Suitable for: Members of the general public who are concerned about their memory and dementia or who are worried that someone they know may have dementia.
You will gain knowledge in:
• the difference between ageing and dementia
• how the brain and memory functions
• general principles of maintaining brain health
